As promised, I’d like to e-troduce
you to each other, since a few of you
were not at the conference.

I know that most of you are just starting
to get organized in terms of getting
your teams/ committees in place.
However, we need you and your committees’
info so the National Ad 2 Board can
introduce ourselves to you and your
committee members and keep everyone
updated as to what’s happening
etc. (you need to make use of these
membership benefits!)
As such, please send the following info
to Nick Manning (National Ad 2 Secretary)
by Friday, July 2. His e-mail addy is
nickbmanning@yahoo.com
IF you do NOT have your committees in
place yet, no worries, just let Nick
know and provide us with the info once
you DO have it
Okie….info needed from you:
1) Each Ad 2 President’s Mailing
Address, Phone Number and confirm e-mail
addy (is this the e-mail addy you want
us to use?)
2) Your committees’ members names
and e-mail addresses as follows:
a. Vice President
b. Secretary
c. Treasurer
d. Communications Chair
e. Diversity Chair
f. Education Chair
g. Fundraising Chair
h. Government Relations Chair

ADDITIONALLY, I wanted to flag a couple
of things with you; and we’ll
be walking you thru’ this process
throughout the year.
1) Student ADDY Category. As explained
in our business meeting in Dallas on
Sunday, June 13, National Ad 2 will
no longer be doing the National Ad 2
Creative Competition. We’re now
partnering with AAF’s ADDY awards
to kick-off a brand new category, the
Student ADDYs. I Will be sending more
info on that later today. Please watch
out for that e-mail and call/ e-mail
me with any questions. This is a VERY
important program that all of you should
do in your markets; it’d be a
GREAT fundraiser for your club
2) National Ad 2 Public Service Competition/
Public Service Campaigns. I highly encourage
all of you to participate in this. You
don’t have to create a huge campaign,
but do what’s manageable in your
communities; it’s beneficial to
both your members and the non-profit.
In the next few weeks, the National
Ad 2 Public Service Chair(s) will be
introducing themselves to you and your
PS chairs
3) Mid-Year Retreat. We’ll be
discussing this and will advise you
on when/where to have it. This is a
GREAT opportunity for all of us to get
together to see how things are going
and for the Natl Ad 2 BOD to help you
out with you’re facing challenges
in your market. Please try to set aside
a budget for this. We’ll have
it at an affordable place
4) Club Achievements “Best Of”
Book. Did all of you have a chance to
pick up the “Best Of”…
book at the conference? If you did NOT,
please contact John Vincent at jvincent@aaf.org
and have him mail you a copy. Look under
Division (V); which is what Ad 2 clubs
compete under. This gives you a VERY
good idea of what to do in your clubs
in terms of Club Mgmt, Communications,
Diversity, Education, Govt Relations,
Membership, Programs, Public Service.
If you don’t know what the Heck
I’m talking abt., e-mail me to
clarify…it’s a big fat white
looking book that AAF displayed in Dallas
and made copies for everyone…they’re
running low on copies, so GRAB them
while you can.
