Hey Ad 2 Presidents,
Hope everyone’s doing well! Bet you missed my constant e-mails, eh? HA!
As mentioned earlier in July, we’ll be having our 2nd annual mid-year retreat in San Francisco from Nov 19-20. I’ve already heard from several of you who will be sending teams from your clubs; that’s Awesome! We hope to see lots of you there!

Please find the long-awaited:
- Mid Year Retreat Schedule (with info on hotel---$99 a nite at Fisherman’s Wharf! Yeah CHAD!)
- Mid Year Retreat Survey (to be filled in by Club President or VP Only…)

Please take 10 minutes of your time to read thru’ the survey and answer the questions so that National Ad 2 BOD can help assist you with your challenges or issues.
Your answers/ comments will be addressed at the mid–year retreat. If you do not flag your problems with us, we cannot help you.

Please reply to the survey by Friday, October 1, 2004 by e-mailing the survey back to me. In the meantime, please let me know app. how many from your team will be there…we’re anticipating about 40 people, including SF folks…so this sounds like it’ll be a BLAST! And be sure to share the schedule with your board and club members!
Miss you guys and can’t wait to meet up in 2 months!!!!!!!!!
Joce

Hey Natl Ad 2 BOD,
Hope all/most of you received the e-mail I sent out yesterday re: the retreat in SF.
Can you please advise if you will be attending the retreat? I need a headcount so we can plan the retreat and workload etc.

In addition to the pre-retreat survey for the Presidents, we also have one for you guys….please fill in this survey and e-mail it over to me by October 1, 2004. If you received this e-mail, it means you have to fill in the survey (no excuses!!!)
This will allow me to help identify problems (if there are any) and help you resolve them….

Once the club presidents have sent their surveys in, I’ll be e-mailing them over to you so you can take a good look at them and try to help them resolve their issues (I’ll obviously help you as well). Membership Chairs will only get membership issues, Education chairs to get Education issues etc. These ideas will then be presented to them in SF; if you can’t attend the retreat, that’s fine, someone else on the BOD will present it on behalf of you.

THANKS for your help!
joce

Summer Updates 2004
Aloha Dallas Conference Attendees and all-of-you-who-missed-it!

I’m so sorry this has taken so long…but I was on vacation till yesterday…more on my adventures later...SO!

I hope everyone had fun in Dallas! I know I had a blast…it’s always fun to meet up with old friends and meet newbies at these conferences… all of your energy and passion is so infectious…and standing at the bar the other nite (how appropriate), with my non-alcoholic coke, I realized how lucky I am to be doing something I love (albeit for peanuts) rather than stuck in a boring ol’ job doing something I hate…thanks for making me fall in love with Advertising all over again

THANK YOU to all of you who were there…I hope you learnt a lot from each other and had a great time meeting up with Ad 2 folks from around the country.

Here’s a brief recap for those of you who missed this: Read More...

Aloha Ad 2 Presidents!

As promised, I’d like to e-troduce you to each other, since a few of you were not at the conference.

Aloha Ad 2 Presidents,

Okie…here’s the info on the Student ADDY category as proposed to all Ad 2 conference attendees at our business meeting on Sunday, June 13, 2004

This is a little complicated and may be a little confusing (especially to those who were not present at the meeting), so please bear with me as I try to explain this again via e-mail. I’ve also attached a summary sheet + Addy rules/ categories form which I need for all of you to read and advise if you have any questions. Read More...

Hey Natl Ad 2 BOD,

This past week, I asked the Exec Committee to advise me on where they propose the mid-year retreat should be held, and the vote favored San Francisco in November.

Before I confirm this destination and present it to the Presidents, I wanted to share the reasons with all of you: Read More...

Presidents & Committee Chairs,
This report has information on educating your clubs and members on diversity
issues with a 4 step program to get your Diversity Comittees started.
I've included a couple programs that Seattle has been working on that
your clubs can possibly recreate. There will be more ideas flowing
soon, this is just to get you all started. Take care and good luck.
